Eligibility Criteria:

The applicant must fulfill the following criteria to avail of this Scholarship:

For Undergraduate Students:

  1.     Good code of conduct.
  2.     Full commitment to the KAU regulations and by-laws.
  3.     Medically fitness.
  4.     Students must have obtained a secondary school education certificate or equivalent from within the kingdom of Saudi Arabia or abroad.
  5.     Students must not be younger than 17 years old or older than 25 years old for the undergraduate level.
  6.     Students must not be dismissed from any university.
  7.     Students must not have been awarded a scholarship from a Saudi University.

 

For MS / Ph.D. Students:

 

  1. For Masters, Studies Students must not be under 30. For Ph.D. Studies students must not be under 35.
  2. The student must fulfill one of the following criteria in English language tests:
    1. TOEFL 500 in PBT
    2. TOEFL 173 in CBT
    3.  IELTS 5
  3. Two Recommendation Letters from faculty members of Home University.
  4. The applicant must not have been dismissed from any of the Saudi Institutions.
  5. Applicants of Arabic Language and Literature Course, Islamic Law and Studies, Sociology, Psychology as well as Information Science programs must be professional Arabic language.

    3. For Ph.D. program applicants: Master’s degree diploma (or above)
